My sons love soup but alas my "fussy" middle-aged boy does not. As there is no way I'm cooking multiple meals this frustrated me for years.
And then I discovered that re-branding works for adults too. My soups got thickened and re-sold as "sauce".
This has actually solved two problems rather than one : a) I can serve soup more often - yippee and b) my husband who loves sauce gets one more frequently without me having to create something specially. Roy was quite happy to spoon the carrot & lentil soup over his veggies and the boys delighted in having a separate bowl.
Win, win and win for me too!
Re-branding can make a huge difference to how a food is viewed, accepted and enjoyed. Labels, presentation and perception can totally alter a food for your child (even the oldest ones!).
Have you re-branded something with success?
