![]() Officially back at work today and asked Joe which image suited me the most. He chose this one as I have a clunky black laptop, glasses, a camera and love greenery! It's been so nice to have a break away from routine. But also great to be able to spend some time researching things that fascinate me but I don't get enough time to read up on. In talking to literally 100's of parents I've noticed there is a strong correlation between eating and other childhood challenges. Looking at whether the food is a cause or an effect (or a combination) throws up some interesting answers and also some more questions. One of my main goals for this year is to talk food specifics and look at how we can 1) better understand how food affects everything from mood, to behaviour to learning outcomes and 2) improve our children's diets in the simplest and most "user friendly" way.
I have some studies I'd love to share with you. Knowledge is power and even if our children are not eating what we'd like them to at the moment, knowing where to head gives us a road-map.
